Description

This comprehensive heater core bypass kit is designed to replace common failed heater hoses or bypass the heater core in custom engine swaps. The set features a durable “U” shaped rubber hose with 5/8-inch and 3/4-inch ends, high-quality aluminum barbed couplers, and protective rubber caps to ensure a leak-free coolant circuit.

Instructions:

1. Ensure the engine is completely cool and the cooling system is drained before removing the old heater hoses.
2. Select the appropriate aluminum barbed fittings to adapt the bypass hose to your specific engine outlet sizes.
3. Slide the provided spring-action clamps onto the “U” hose and push the hose ends firmly onto the aluminum couplers or water pump ports.
4. Use the black rubber block-off caps and stainless steel worm-gear clamps to seal any unused heater core inlet or outlet ports.
5. Secure any loose lines with the included metal cable ties, refill the coolant, and bleed the system to remove air pockets.

Precaution:

Regularly inspect the aluminum fittings for corrosion and ensure the rubber caps are tightly clamped to prevent sudden pressure loss.
