This pair of performance cabin air filters is designed to replace the bulky factory cowl filter assembly on BMW E-chassis vehicles to save weight and improve engine bay accessibility. Featuring high-flow pleated red filter media housed in a durable black frames, these filters mount directly to the cabin air inlets, providing clean air to the interior while significantly cleaning up the appearance of the engine bay.

Instructions:

1. Remove the large factory plastic cabin filter housing and the long rubber seal located at the rear of the engine bay.
2. Clean the mounting surface around the left and right cabin air intake ducts to ensure a proper seal.
3. Place one red performance filter over each intake duct, aligning the pointed end of the frame toward the outside of the vehicle.
4. Secure each filter using the factory screws through the integrated mounting holes on either side of the filter frame.
5. Ensure the filters are seated flush against the cowl to prevent unfiltered air or debris from entering the HVAC system.

Precaution:

Ensure the ECU and electrical components are protected from moisture, as these filters bypass factory water drainage channels.
