Description

This silver High Pressure Oil Rail Ball Tube Repair Kit is designed for Ford 6.0L Diesel engines (2003–2010), including F-Series, E-Series, and Excursion models. The kit provides all necessary components, including high-strength steel ball tubes and a complete set of O-rings, to resolve common high-pressure oil leaks and “no-start” conditions.

Instructions:

1. Disassemble the Oil Rail: Remove the high-pressure oil rail from the engine and place it on a clean workbench to begin the repair.
2. Extract Old Ball Tubes: Use the provided black heavy-duty socket tool to unscrew the old, worn ball tubes from the rail.
3. Clean the Rail Ports: Thoroughly clean each port on the oil rail to ensure no debris remains before installing the new silver components.
4. Install New O-rings: Select the appropriately sized O-rings from the multi-colored set and seat them carefully into the rail ports.
5. Mount New Ball Tubes: Thread the new silver ball tubes into the rail and use the installation tool to torque them to the manufacturer’s specified setting.
6. Reinstall the Rail: Place the repaired oil rail back onto the engine, ensuring all high-pressure connections are properly aligned and tightened.

Precaution:

Lubricate all O-rings with clean engine oil before installation to prevent tearing.
