This heavy-duty rubber crossover hose is specifically designed to bypass the heater core on LS and LT engine swaps. The “U” shaped hose features one 5/8-inch end and one 3/4-inch end to match the standard outlet sizes on GM water pumps, providing a reliable coolant loop while maintaining proper engine temperature.

Instructions:

1. Ensure the engine is completely cool and the cooling system pressure has been released.
2. Identify the two heater core outlet ports on your water pump.
3. Slide the two provided stainless steel worm-gear clamps onto the ends of the black rubber hose.
4. Push the 5/8-inch and 3/4-inch ends of the hose onto their respective matching ports on the water pump.
5. Tighten the silver clamps securely using a flathead screwdriver or socket to prevent leaks, then refill and bleed the cooling system.

Precaution:

Verify that the hose is not in contact with moving belts or hot exhaust components, as this can lead to sudden hose failure and engine overheating.
