Description

This CNC-machined billet aluminum spacer is designed to increase intake manifold volume and improve air-fuel mixing for enhanced throttle response. The 1-inch thick spacer features a black anodized finish and comes as a complete kit including two gaskets, three precision spacers, and high-tensile mounting hardware for Jeep 2.5L and 4.0L engines.

Instructions:

1. Remove the air intake tube and unbolt the throttle body from the intake manifold.
2. Clean the mounting surfaces and place one black gasket on the manifold, followed by the black spacer, then the second gasket.
3. Position the throttle body over the assembly, ensuring all four mounting holes are properly aligned.
4. Use the three silver cylindrical spacers and the seven provided long hex-head bolts with washers to secure the throttle body and linkages.
5. Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern to ensure a level seal, then reconnect the air intake and throttle cables.

Precaution:

Avoid over-tightening bolts to prevent manifold damage; check for vacuum leaks after the first drive.
