This high-performance 16-piece gasket and O-ring kit is engineered specifically for Duramax LLY, LBZ, and LMM engines found in 2004.5–2010 models. The set includes 8 durable green viton O-rings and 8 copper crush washers designed to provide a leak-proof seal for fuel injectors, ensuring optimal engine performance and preventing fuel contamination.

Instructions:

1. Ensure the engine is completely cool and the fuel system pressure has been safely relieved before starting work.
2. Remove the existing fuel injectors and carefully discard the old, worn O-rings and copper washers.
3. Clean the injector body and the cylinder head seating area thoroughly to ensure a debris-free sealing surface.
4. Slide a new green O-ring onto the upper section of each injector and place a new copper washer onto the injector tip.
5. Reinstall the injectors into the engine, ensuring they are seated squarely and torqued to the manufacturer’s specifications to maintain a tight seal.

Precaution:

Always replace both the O-ring and the copper washer simultaneously to prevent high-pressure fuel leaks or combustion blow-by.
