Description

This high-performance front lower control arm bushing kit is engineered as a direct replacement for BMW E46 and E85 models, including the 325i, 330i, and Z4. The kit features durable silver-finished aluminum housings paired with high-density red polyurethane inserts designed to improve steering response and suspension stability. By reducing unwanted movement in the control arms, these bushings provide a more precise driving experience and extended service life compared to standard rubber components.

Instructions:

1. Safely lift the front of the vehicle using a jack and secure it on jack stands before removing the front wheels.
2. Unbolt the existing rear-mounted bushings from the chassis and slide the old housings off the ends of the front lower control arms.
3. Clean the mounting surface of the control arm thoroughly and apply a thin layer of suspension grease to the inner red polyurethane core.
4. Press the new bushing assembly onto the control arm, ensuring the hexagonal inner core aligns correctly with the shape of the arm’s end.
5. Bolt the new aluminum housings back onto the chassis using the original mounting points and torque them to the manufacturer’s specified settings.

Precaution:

Ensure the hexagonal inserts are fully seated and correctly aligned before tightening bolts, and perform a professional wheel alignment after installation to prevent uneven tire wear.
