Description

This performance mount set replaces soft factory rubber with high-durometer polyurethane bushings to minimize engine and transmission movement. Designed for Nissan 240SX chassis with SR20DET or KA24 engines, these orange mounts feature CNC-machined aluminum end caps and grade-8 hardware to improve throttle response and shifting precision.

Instructions:

1. Support the engine and transmission securely with a jack and wooden block before loosening the factory mounts.
2. Unbolt and remove the original rubber engine mounts and the rectangular transmission mount from the crossmembers.
3. Install the two cylindrical orange engine mounts onto the engine brackets, ensuring the black aluminum caps sit flush.
4. Bolt the rectangular orange transmission mount to the transmission tail shaft using the provided black hex-head bolts.
5. Lower the drive unit into place, guide the studs through the frame holes, and tighten all gold-zinc plated nuts to factory torque specs.

Precaution:

Expect a significant increase in cabin vibration and noise (NVH) as these rigid mounts transfer more engine energy directly to the chassis.
