Instructions:

1. Surface Prep: Clean the upper outer rim of your side mirror housing thoroughly using soap and water, followed by Isopropyl Alcohol. The surface must be completely free of wax and ceramic coatings.
2. Dry Fit: Before removing the adhesive backing, hold the OMU shield against the mirror to confirm the correct side (Left vs. Right) and alignment.
3. Apply Adhesive: Peel the protective film from the high-strength 3M adhesive tape located on the inner edge of the aluminum frame.
4. Install: Carefully press the shield onto the mirror housing. Apply firm, even pressure for at least 30–60 seconds to ensure a secure bond.
5. Setting Time: Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before driving at high speeds or exposing the vehicle to water.

Precaution:

Clean the mirror surface thoroughly before applying the adhesive and avoid high-speed driving or car washes for 24 hours to ensure a permanent bond.
